The AFF Women's Championship is the competition in women's football organised by the ASEAN Football Federation, contested by the national teams of nations in Southeast Asia. The tournament started in 2006, hosted by Vietnam and won by Vietnam.[1]
The official championships were held annually from 2006 until 2008. In 2009, the AFF discontinued it and organized an under-16 woman's championship instead.[2]
